Do you need help turning on and off your heater or air conditioner, assistance with your taxes, a ride to the store or doctor’s office, a lawn mowed or a meal delivered? Someone in your shepherd group can help you or knows someone who can! The shepherd group is the first point of contact for care giving to our people. As each has received a gift, we are compelled to use it to serve one another as good stewards of the grace we have received. Young and old alike are encouraged to gladly share in carrying one another’s burdens as they are able, and in doing so to share together in the joy of the Lord. Our deacons serve the church by guiding our hearts and hands toward the needs within their respective shepherd groups. |
